There are a lot of different variables that go into the quote and most of the time the carpets need to be inspected.

Size Has a Lot To Do With the Carpet Cleaning Estimate: Each house is set up differently and the size of the rooms can differ drastically from house to house. The size of the rooms that you want to have the carpet cleaned in need to be measured so that the carpet cleaner can determine the amount of time and cleaning materials that will be needed to do the job. Stains, Odors and Condition Of The Carpets Has Some Bearing On The Estimate: When a carpet cleaning technician comes out and looks at the carpet to give an estimate they are going to look at the condition of the carpets. The more stains and dirt that is on the carpets the more treatment and time will be needed to treat the carpets. If you have a pet that seems to have accidents and there is odor left behind you will need some specialized treatments to remove the stains and the odor. Important Notes:
1. Know the materials used to construct the carpet or rug you are lifting stains out of. Some fibers require specific detergents and others have to products to avoid at all costs. If you are uncertain as to the fibers of used, consult a professional.
2. Before applying any commercial cleaners or homemade solutions, perform a patch test in an inconspicuous area to ensure the fibers integrity or color is not compromised.
3. Never use hot water during treatment, as hot water can cause the stain to set it.
4. Avoid vigorous scrubbing and rubbing as this can cause the stain to spread out and down into the fibers.
5. When tending to stains, do not use paper towels or cleaning cloths with patterns or that are colored. Use only plain white. In some circumstances, the print on paper towels, or the dye on wash cloths can be transferred onto the carpet, leaving you with a bigger mess than what you started with.
6. Immediately begin to clean a stain the moment it happens. Removing the blemish is easier done sooner than later.
