Combine 2 cups of cool water, 1 TBS ammonia, and 1 TBS dishwashing liquid in either a spray bottle or a cleaning bucket. With a clean damp cloth, sponge the solution onto the stain. Occasionally use circular patterns in a gentle rubbing fashion if the stain is resistant and needs to be slightly agitated, work at the stain by blotting at the spot with moderate pressure. To remove any cleaning residues, thoroughly rinse the area with cool water and cloth. Especially prior to trying a different method if the results were not satisfactory, ensure thorough dryness.
What is a Dry Cleaning Solvent for Upholstery?
