How to Get Fresh Pee Out of Mattress

If you catch the urine right away you will want to use this first method. If the urine has already had a chance to set in at all you will want to use the next method that we outline. As long as the mattress is still wet this method should work wonders on your mattress. Grab white vinegar, spray bottle, baking soda, some towels, and a vacuum and take it to the room where your mattress is. Then remove all of the bedding from your mattress. You will want to wash your bedding in your washing machine right away. In your spray bottle mix together a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Take a clean towel and blot the urine out of the mattress. Make sure that you do not scrub. Scrubbing will push the urine even further into your mattress. After you have blotted most of the urine out get your spray bottle out. Spray the white vinegar and water mixture generously over the area. Let it sit for a few minutes. Next blot the excess liquid with a clean towel. Get your baking soda out next. Cover the wet area on your mattress and cover it with baking soda. Now just let the baking soda sit. We recommend that you let it sit for 8-10 hours. After you have let it sit get your vacuum out and vacuum up the baking soda. When you inspect the area if you see any staining or some odor left behind you can repeat this process.
