How to Clean Dried Pet Urine Stains from a Mattress
Use a specially formulated for pet stains enzyme-based upholstery cleaner. Use paper towels to absorb as much liquid as possible, after words, place a fresh, dry towel on top of the stain and put weight on top of it, such as books, and let it absorb more moisture for another 10 minutes or so. If necessary, blot again with dry rags or paper towels to ensure all of the excess moisture is gone. Dab a damp cloth on the area and then administer the enzyme cleaner and let it sit for 15 minutes, or according to the directions on the label. Repeat if necessary. Once satisfied the stain is gone, be sure to dry it be either setting in the sun or increase the air circulation in the room by opening the doors, windows, and using fans.
Vomit Stain & Odor Removal from Mattress
Enzyme-based cleaner and baking soda. Clear off any chucks with a blunt edged tool, like a spatula or spoon. Use dry paper towels or rags to begin blotting as much moisture as possible. Cover the area generously with the baking soda and give it 15-30 minutes to absorb lingering moisture and odors. Use the vacuum to thoroughly remove the particles. Apply the enzyme-based cleaner and let it 15 minutes or longer according the label. Rinse the area with a cool-dampen cloth and dabbing it clean. Allow to dry with increased circulation or setting outside.
How to Remove Spilled Coffee from Mattress
The basic solution (3/4 cup warm water, ΒΌ cup vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap mixed in a squirt bottle or bucket. Immediately blot the liquid with dry towel or paper towels. If the stain is dry, lightly dampen the area with warm water. Starting on the outer edges and working towards the center, blot with a dry cloth. Continue until the brown continue to transfer to the cloth. Use the solution to treat a cloth and use it to dab the stain until it is removed. Be sure to dry using accelerating methods.
Mattress Wine Stain Remover
Use cold water and salt or a product designed specifically to remove wine. This works well with red stains in generally including, juice, cough syrup, and spaghetti sauce. Blot as much liquid as possible using a dry towel. If using a wine removal product, follow the directions on the label. Using the salt, use a cold water-dampen cloth to blot the stain. Sprinkle the damp area with salt and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. Use cold water to dampen a cloth and work it in the stain. Blot dry and repeat as necessary. Be sure to finalize the procedure by flipping on fans and opening the doors and windows for increased airflow to accelerate the drying.
Getting Oily Food or Lotion Stains Out of Carpet
Dish soap and baking soda works well. Remove the bulk as with a flat, un-sharpen straight edge, such as a credit card. Generously sprinkle baking soda on the area and let it sit for 20 minutes, afterwards, be sure to thoroughly vacuum the other. If a residue remains, use direct dish soap, a few drops, on a warm-water damp cloth and work out the residue. Use a clean, damp cloth to remove the soap, dry thoroughly with blotting and airflow acceleration.
