You want to buy a bottle of lacquer hairspray that usually is in an aerosol can. This is the main ingredient to cleaning the ink. You can use the bottle to spray over the ink stained area. You want to give it a good spray and you should see the stain starting to lift. Then you need to use a cloth to dab at the spot so that you can remove the ink that is lifting. Once you have removed the stain you can wash the area with water and a small amount of dish detergent. This will clean the residue that is left from cleaning the ink. This method will work best when you address the ink stain right away.
Use Rubbing Alcohol to Get Ink Out of Carpet
